This first posting is just a broad explanation of the existence of our group. So I won’t say any details here. Maybe in other next postings you will find some details you like. Enjoy our blog.
We started as a music band. More or less like that lah. Kenapa kita pilih nama Acts_29? Selain karena kelihatannya keren (bagi kami, atau well, bagi SEBAGIAN dari kami ’-_-), kami memilih nama ini dari segi arti. Kami mengacu pada kitab Kisah Para Rasul which named Acts of The Apostles di versi inggrisnya. Dan just the same like most Indonesian young people, we preferred English to Indonesian. That was why we chose Acts as the name. Then, why 29? Bukan karena kami mempunyai 29 personel.. (benernya isa juga si, kalo sekelas dimasukin ke band >< ) Tapi karena kitab Kisah Para Rasul ends at Chapter 28. Then we chose 29 because we thought that we will be the continualty of the apostles on earth. So that was the broad explanation of the reason why we chose Acts_29 as a name of our band.
But as time goes by, kita dah jarang maen musik bareng lagi, some felt bored, some were hating each other (it was past, nvm) so, kiprah kita di dunia permusikan layaknya berakhir. Tapi after passing that kind of troubles, Acts_29 was still exist, though bukan music band anymore. Anggotanya bertambah, anggota lama tetap ada di sana (yang hating each other udah pada damai..peacee… v(^_^)v ) dan ada beberapa anggota baru yang masuk. Kita jadi kayak band of friends. Kita jadi temen2 yang akrab bgt..
But again, as time goes by, kita dah mulai jarang kumpul2 bareng. Semua mulai sibuk dengan kegiatan masing2, this band of friends was once more forgotten. Setelah beberapa tahun berlalu, dan kita semua udah di taon terakir di SMA, some of us, mulai akrab lagi. Dan, setelah lulus dan mulai kuliah, lebi tepatnya a few days ago, 2 of us mulai memikirkan, gimana caranya supaya this bond will never be forgotten. Akirnya kita berinisiatif membuat blog ini. Supaya the bond that we made will last forever.
For everyone who reads this posting. I just wanna say, a bond of friendship will never ceased by time, nor by problems. Semua masalah yang datang akan membuat the bond stronger. And walaupun semua sahabat2mu udah berpisah, entah di mana pun mereka berada, mereka akan selalu berada in your heart. And when you -at last- meet them again, you can still say, “Thanks for being my friend.” A friend is still a friend, wherever they are.
Friends forever.
